Knowledge sources provide the content your AI assistant uses to answer customer questions. The assistant only responds based on content from your knowledge base.

  • Websites — automatically scrape and index web pages.
  • Notes — manually written text content.

When a customer asks a question, Promptify performs a semantic search across your knowledge sources to find the most relevant content. This content is provided to the AI model as context for generating a response.

You can choose which embedding model to use for indexing and search. Both OpenAI (text-embedding-3-small) and Google Gemini (gemini-embedding-001) are supported. Configure your embedding model in AI > Integrations.

  • Websites — import content from web pages.
  • Notes — add custom text content.
